Loosely inspired by the New Balance 2002R. the 1906R features a future-forward appearance and a comfortable fit. The shoe is complete with what New Balance is calling a Natural Indigo mesh base. Contrasting dark grey or Castlerock overlays are found throughout the upper. including on the plastic heel counter that helps stabilize the wearer's foot. A navy “Nâ€?logo with grey trim appears on either side. The shoe rides on an “N-ERGYâ€?foam sole.
