The New Balance 550 was brought back by Aimé Leon Dore in 2020 when the New York based clothing company's founder and lead designer Teddy Santis discovered the shoe in New Balance's archives. Here. the “Pink Sandâ€?updates its vintage design with a white leather upper with Pink Sand-colored leather and suede overlays. A white “Nâ€?logo with pink trim appears on both sides of the shoe. Pink outline â€?50â€?branding is found on the forefoot. Additional branding includes an “NBâ€?logo on the heel. and retro-inspired “New Balance 550 USAâ€?detailing on the tongue.
