The Aime Leon Dore x New Balance 993 “Taupeâ€?is one of two colorways of the popular lifestyle shoe designed by the New York based clothing and lifestyle brand and New Balance in February 2022. The “Taupe.â€?along with the brown-and-green “Beef & Broccoliâ€?inspired New Balance 993. were originally released by Aime Leon Dore and New Balance in small quantities in November 2021 before re-releasing again globally in February 2022. The design features a blue mesh base that's contrasted with taupe-colored premium pigskin suede and dark brown leather overlays. A tonal “Nâ€?logo appears on either side of the shoe and “Aimé Leon Doreâ€?branding is located on the heel. Additional branding appears in the form of “Made in the USAâ€?embroidery on the tongue.
