Originally known as the “Columbiaâ€?Jordan 11 when it was released and worn by Michael Jordan in 1996. the crisp white-and-light-blue colorway is actually a “UNCâ€?inspired design. sans any official naming by Nike or Jordan. In 2014. the “Columbiaâ€?was repackaged as the “Legend Blue.â€?though the design shares many similarities with the OG look. Here. this Spring 2021 version of the “Legend Blueâ€?is dressed in crisp white leather with a white patent leather mudguard. A white mesh tongue. with Legend Blue “Jumpman Jordanâ€?insignia contrasts the look of the black liner. Of note. the familiar â€?3â€?branding on the insole has been switched to â€?5.â€?a possible reference to the 2021 being the 25th anniversary of the original “Columbiaâ€?release.
