The Air Jordan 5 Low “Class of 2021â€?is a special makeup of Michael Jordan's fifth signature shoe that celebrates the 2021 graduating class of Jordan Brand's Wings Scholarship Program. Intentionally minimal in design. the “Class of 2021â€?mimics a cap-and-gown outfit with a predominantly black color scheme. The upper is dressed in all black with a nylon textile base at the toe and heel and nubuck overlays through the midfoot. The gold embroidered â€?0â€?and â€?1â€?logos found on the lateral sides of the left and right shoe. respectively. are in reference to the 2021 graduating class. A gold Jumpman can be found on the black neoprene tongue and a black Jumpman on the heel. The slogans “Class of '21â€?and “Jordan Wingsâ€?appear in gold text on the underside of the tongues on the left and right shoe. respectively. Metallic gold “shark toothâ€?detailing contrasts the black painted midsole. A mini tassel is added to the shoelace of the right shoe to further the graduation theme. An icy blue translucent outsole with a feather graphic visible underneath completes the look. Release date: May 14. 2021.
