The “Pantoneâ€?first made headlines when it appeared as a sample shoe in 2010's World Basketball Festival. Later. based on the shoe's popularity in the sneaker community. Jordan Brand decided to give the “UNCâ€?inspired colorway a proper retail release. The Jordan 7 “Pantoneâ€?was released alongside other Jordan models in Tar Heels colors that spring. including the Jordan 11 Low “University Blue.â€?Here. the upper is dressed in a full monochromatic University Blue synthetic nubuck material for an attention-grabbing look. An embroidered Jumpman logo appears on the collar and light blue â€?3â€?insignia can be found on the back of the shoe.
