The Air Jordan 9 GS “University Blueâ€?is the youth sizing of Michael Jordan's ninth signature shoe in a UNC-inspired colorway for Winter 2020. The “University Blueâ€?look features the familiar original white and black color block of the Jordan 9. but with University Blue replacing the red accents. The colorway includes a white leather base with a perforated “diamondâ€?motif appearing along the medial and lateral sides of the shoe. A black synthetic nubuck mudguard above the black painted midsole breaks up the look. Black plastic eyelets and rope laces contrast the white mesh tongue. A University Blue â€?3â€?emblem appears on the heel and “Air Jordanâ€?detailing dots the tongue. Additional “UNCâ€?inspired accenting can be found on the mini Jumpman emblem on the sole and on the “globeâ€?insignia on the heel.
