The Nike Air Kukini “Waterâ€?is the re-issue of the original colorway of the retro performance running shoe that debuted in 2000. Tapping into the Air Kukini's early 2000s. Y2K-era vibe. the “Waterâ€?colorway was one of several styles of the running shoe that debuted as part of the now-defunct Nike Alpha Project. an athlete-based campaign that aimed to improve upon Nike's performance footwear technology by studying how athletes use and perform in shoes. As for the “Water.â€?the colorway is complete with a water-inspired woven textile construction. A translucent TPU overlay “cageâ€?contrasts the look throughout. “Nikeâ€?branding is found on various points of the shoe.
