The Nike Astro Grabber debuted as a performance baseball and softball shoe back in the late 1970s. before it was reissued as a performance football shoe in 1979. Amazingly. the style never received a retro release until Bode collaborated with Nike on the model in 2024. Bode's “Naturalâ€?colorway features a Natural-colored canvas-like construction with an oversized black leather Swoosh on the sides.“Bodeâ€?branding appears on the tongue. and a football-inspired lace charm. inspired by the Astro Grabber's past life as a football shoe. adds to the design's uniqueness.
