Gel-Lyte 5 "Cove"

The Ronnie Fieg x ASICS Gel-Lyte V “Coveâ€?is a collaboration between the New York City based sneaker designer and ASICS from 2014. Adjoining the “Mint Leafâ€?colorway released alongside it. this “Coveâ€?design also appeared on the Gel-Lyte 3 prior its transformation onto the Gel-Lyte 5. Like all of the collaborations between Fieg. Kith. and ASICS. the “Coveâ€?is marked by its use of premium materials and attention to detail. The upper features a supple light blue dotted pigskin leather construction with perforations for constant airflow to the foot. The ASICS stripes found on the mid-panel displays contrasting white accenting that breaks up the monochromatic look. Tonal “Gel-Lyte Vâ€?detailing can be found on the tonal nubuck overlay between the mid-panel and collar. Additional branding appears in the form of embroidered “ASICSâ€?detailing on the heel and tongue. Release date: April 5. 2014.
