The Nike KD 13 “Aunt Pearlâ€?is a special colorway of Kevin Durant's thirteenth signature shoe with Nike Basketball that honors his beloved late aunt. who passed away in 2000. The “Aunt Pearlâ€?theme began in 2012 on the Nike KD 4. and has continued in the years since as a way for Durant to incorporate his identity into his signature footwear line. The upper's textile material is finished off in a warm hue of pink dubbed “Pink Foam.â€?A pearl Swoosh resides on either side of the upper and blue and aqua accenting appears on the overlay panel on the heel.
