The Nike Air More Uptempo “Splitâ€?is a colorway that celebrates the career of Scottie Pippen. the Basketball Hall of Famer who memorably wore the basketball shoe with the Chicago Bulls in 1996. The “Splitâ€?features a mismatched design that salutes the two basketball teams Pippen played for in '96 while wearing the Air More Uptempo: the Bulls and the Dream Team 2 that competed at the '96 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. GA. The black synthetic nubuck upper is contrasted with red “AIRâ€?branding on the lateral side and blue “AIRâ€?branding on the medial side. The dual colors represented the Bulls and the '96 Dream Team. respectively. A jeweled Metallic Silver Swoosh is found on the heel and a white Swoosh is embroidered on the forefoot.
