The Nike Kobe 4 Protro “Carpe Diemâ€?is the June 2019 reissue of the original colorway of Kobe Bryant's former signature shoe. The “Carpe Diemâ€?colorway was first released in 2009 before returning to the sneaker scene as a retro model a decade later in 2019. The colorway honors Bryant's time with the Los Angeles Lakers. Black leather is found throughout the upper. including on the mid-panel and toe. The collar and heel feature a black quilted textile with yellow contrast detailing. A yellow Swoosh outlined in purple can be found on either side of the shoe. A unique “Carpe Diemâ€?emblem appears on the top of the tongue. Zoom Air cushioning technology is embedded in the outsole.
